Vinicius Junior has learned a new way to 'dribble. It's not about a feint with the ball, but rather his way of dodging hostility in away stadiums.
At Getafe, his self-control and provocation gave three points to Real Madrid and two Getafe red cards.
Something has changed in Vinicius. Before, he would fall into the traps; now he provokes them.
At Getafe he was the target of boos and chants, but he kept his cool and turned the tension into an advantage.
He received 28 yellow cards in the last two seasons, but this season he has just one for simulating and not protesting. He has matured.
He no longer argues with referees, he 'dribbles' them too. Vinicius in 2025 is another player. He has learned to use tension as an engine, not as a brake.
Instead of losing matches due to suspension, now he wins them through intelligence.
"Down for Rodrygo... Éder Militao. Carvajal. It's Carvajal's cross... RODRYGOOO, oooh it's extraordinary!!! They prayed for miracles and miracles arrived! REAL MADRID, THE TEAM OF DREAMS. Where has that come from? How did that happen?!"
