Credibility isn’t earned with PowerPoints or empty speeches. It’s earned by cleaning house and avoiding disasters like Anoeta. And Soto isn’t up to it. Garrigues may be happy with his absence. Football, not with his presence.

The Negreira case brought the system to the edge of moral collapse. And instead of putting someone with prestige, authority, and credibility in charge, they plug in a tax lawyer. Of course: Galician, like his boss Macario. They’re already being called the Galician clan.
