Nem lesz januári igazolás, lényegében erre utal az AS is meg Cortegana is a lenti cikkében
January:
Carlo Ancelotti wants a CB and a RB, but his wishes are rarely taken into account at Real Madrid. He asked for Harry Kane to replace Benzema and for a CB after Militão and Alaba got injured, but the club did not make serious moves.
Real Madrid historically are wary of January signings.
They believe it takes too much time for a player to adapt, perform immediately, be a financially beneficial move without being a stopgap signing.
Real Madrid’s transfer policy is led by Perez, Sanchez, and Calafat. Calafat scouts and recommends players, and Sanchez handles negotiations only after a target is marked as a 'must-buy'. Perez has the final say, Ancelotti is only sometimes consulted.
Real Madrid argue that instead of signing a CB in January, the better solution is to count on Raul Asencio or Alaba. The club believes Alaba will start getting minutes by mid January.
Real Madrid's management point out how successful the club has been the past few years by following their own ideas and disregarding opposing views from inside and outside the club.
Summer targets:
Real Madrid have no "standout" targets at CB, but there have been mentions of Aymeric Laporte or 18 y/o Palmeiras player, Vitor Reis.
Real Madrid reached an understanding with Alphonso Davies’ agency in February on what the terms would be if he were to sign for them in 2024 or 2025. The club can still make a move for Davies, despite Bayern's progress in contract renewal talks.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is Real Madrid's ideal target at RB. There is optimism around the club about his arrival in the summer.
